01 · Overview
The Rugova gorge climbs from Peja through limestone walls into the Accursed Mountains. The road is paved to Kuçishtë, then gravel to the Liqenat lakes. Shepherd huts turn into guesthouses in summer, and the same meadows carry ski tourers from January to March.
